In my opinion the Bible is a metaphorical set of books based on pagan traditions and cosmology (pagan just means someone who lives life in rural or nature ...) which in my view makes the existence of Jesus or Jehovah very unlikely since no records or references to its existence in any other historical document outside the Bible. It would be like if 2mil years in the future Superman actually think that there just because someone passed from generation to generation their magazines.
That said I think the relationship between science and religion (spirituality and reason) is very narrow, and as political parties which seeks to polarize society, religion and science play the "bad guys and good guys" in shifts , is to confuse and antagonize us believe they are totally unrelated but are actually part of the same of ALL or as you call your God (hence is said to be everywhere).
This is not looking to change your thinking as this prevents the dogma by which you are governed, only seek to express my view of my environment using the ratio of a holistic way.
